MAFIZ Specials recibe un nuevo impulso en 2024, mostrando catorce títulos seleccionados en colaboración con otros festivales e institutos de cine españoles e iberoamericanos, que se proyectarán en los multicines Rosaleda el próximo jueves 7 de marzo. En esta edición se pone de relieve el trabajo de Abycine Lanza con cuatro títulos que muestran la estrecha colaboración y la intención de mantener un intercambio permanente entre estos dos importantes eventos del panorama nacional. Con estas proyecciones, el Festival de Málaga pone en valor el trabajo del mencionado festival albaceteño de cine independiente.
Asimismo, MAFIZ Specials contará con la presencia de títulos latinoamericanos y coproducciones con España y Portugal. Además de Paraguay, país invitado en Latinamerican Focus que presentará ‘La última obra’ y ‘Una sola primavera’, los filmes proceden de Argentina, Costa Rica, Perú, Uruguay y Venezuela. Estas proyecciones se dirigen en exclusiva a compradores y representantes de festivales de todo el mundo para impulsar el recorrido internacional de estas obras.

MAFIZ Specials allies with Abycine
MAFIZ Specials gets a new boost in 2024 by presenting fourteen selected titles, in collaboration with other festivals and Spanish and Ibero-American film institutes, which will be screened in Multicines Rosaleda on Thursday the 7th of March. This edition highlights Abycine Lanza’s work with four titles that show the close collaboration and intention of holding a permanent exchange between these two national events. The Malaga Festival highlights with these screenings the mentioned independent film festival from Albacete.
Likewise, MAFIZ Specials will have the participation of Latin American works and co-productions with Spain and Portugal. Along with Paraguay, the guest country at Latinamerican Focus who will present ‘La última obra’ and ‘Una sola primavera’, the films are from Argentina, Costa Rica, Perú, Uruguay, and Venezuela. These screenings are exclusively targeted to purchasers and worldwide festivals’ representatives to promote the international career of these works
