Industry Club, el espacio que MAFIZ pone a disposición de entidades, institutos de cine, compañías de ventas y otras empresas del sector audiovisual, recibió ayer la visita del alcalde de Málaga Francisco de la Torre, acompañado de Mariana Pineda, concejala de Cultura y Patrimonio Histórico; Camilo Vázquez, subdirector general de Promoción y Relaciones Internacionales del ICAA; Rafael Fuentes, director provincial de ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones en Málaga; y Juan Antonio Vigar, director del certamen.

De un total de 46 stands que conforman Industry Club, la primera parada de las autoridades fueron los espacios de Canarias, la comunidad autónoma protagonista de Territorios, y Paraguay, país invitado de honor en Latinamerican Focus. 

Continuaron el recorrido por La Village, con una amplia representación de países iberoamericanos, y después tuvieron ocasión de charlar con los representantes de las compañías de ventas españolas Film Factory, Filmax, Latido y Sideral, entre otras.

Acto seguido, se detuvieron en los espacios que ocupan las comunidades autónomas, bajo la denominación Spain Colorful Diversity, que aquí tienen oportunidad de presentar sus localizaciones, incentivos fiscales y programas de apoyo a la producción audiovisual. 

En último lugar pudieron visitar los stands de Spanish Screenings Content, Cinema from Spain y Europa Creativa Media, finalizando el recorrido con una fotografía con los representantes de Spain Film Commission presentes allí.

Industry Club brings audiovisual organisations together

Industry Club, the space that MAFIZ makes available to organisations, film institutes, sales companies and other companies in the audiovisual sector, welcomed the visit of the Mayor of Malaga Francisco De la Torre yesterday, accompanied by Mariana Pineda, Councilwoman for Culture and Historical Heritage; Camilo Vázquez, deputy general director of Promotion and International Relations of the ICAA; Rafael Fuentes, provincial director of ICEX Spain Export and Investment in Malaga; and Juan Antonio Vigar, director of the contest.

Of a total of 46 stands that make up Industry Club, the authorities’ first stop were the spaces of the Canary Islands, the autonomous community protagonist of Territorios, and Paraguay, the guest of honour at Latinamerican Focus.

They continued their tour with La Village, where there is a wide representation of Ibero-American countries, and then had the opportunity to chat with representatives of Spanish sales companies such as Film Factory, Filmax, Latido and Sideral, among others.

Immediately afterwards, they stopped at the spaces occupied by the autonomous communities, under the name Spain Colorful Diversity. Here they have the opportunity to present their locations, tax incentives and support programs for audiovisual production.

Finally, they were able to visit the Spanish Screenings Content, Cinema from Spain and Europa Creativa Media stands, ending the tour with a photograph with the representatives of the Spain Film Commission present at the Industry Club.
