Entre el 18 y el 21 de marzo un total de dieciséis películas en posproducción se citan en Málaga para buscar financiación y presentarse en sociedad ante la industria internacional y fomentar su internacionalización. Los días 18, 19 y 20 tendrán lugar las proyecciones exclusivas para profesionales, cuyo colofón serán los pitchings del 21 de marzo en el Museo Thyssen.
Como muestra del crecimiento de la sección, que alcanza su octava edición, cabe destacar la participación en Largometrajes Sección Oficial de ‘Jone Baztutean (Jone a veces)’, de Sara Fontova, que en 2024 se alzó con el Premio Aracne Digital Cinema de la sección, y la participación este año en la iniciativa de ‘Caro Nanni (Querido Nanni)’, de Pablo Maqueda, que compitió con ‘La desconocida’ en 2023 en Largometrajes Sección Oficial.
Además de los premios oficiales a los que pueden optar los títulos, se han tejido a lo largo de los años redes de colaboración con otros festivales, mercados y laboratorios, que permiten reforzar la visibilidad de los títulos escogidos.
Between 18 and 21 March, sixteen films in post-production will seek financing and be presented to the international industry in Malaga and promote their internationalisation. Exclusive screenings for professionals will take place on 18, 19 and 20 March, culminating in the pitching sessions on 21 March at the Thyssen Museum.
As an example of the growth of the section, now in its eighth edition, the Feature Films Official Competition includes Sara Fontova’s Jone Baztutean (Jone a veces) - winner of the Aracne Digital Cinema Award in 2024 - and Pablo Maqueda’s participation in the initiative this year with Caro Nanni (Querido Nanni), who competed in 2023 with La desconocida in the Feature Films Official Competition.
In addition to the official prizes for which the titles are eligible, over the years, collaboration networks have been established with other festivals, markets and laboratories, which allow the visibility of the selected titles to be reinforced.
