Los veinte finalistas comenzaron ayer a trabajar en su desafío final, una pieza sobre su “marca personal”. Juan Antonio Vigar, el director del Festival, les dio la bienvenida, reiterando el apoyo del certamen y afirmando que un festival “tiene que dar voz y presencia a los que son protagonistas de este tiempo, que sois vosotros”.
Por su parte, Ralph Haiek, impulsor de la iniciativa, afirmó que la sección “tiene que ver con la necesidad de sumar a los talentos. Lo que nos estimula es que las ideas y los proyectos puedan llegar a realizarse”.
Víctor Hugo Rosales ha viajado desde Venezuela buscando que este evento sea la rampa de lanzamiento que le empuje a potenciar sus habilidades al siguiente nivel. “Para mí estar aquí representando a mi país es un gran reto y un orgullo”, quiso apuntar.
En esta misma línea, la española Johanna Lattimore espera aprender, crear y evolucionar. “Es increíble que cuenten conmigo y con mi creatividad para participar aquí”, añadió.
OTRAS ACTIVIDADES
Además, tendrán la ocasión de llevar a la práctica por primera vez los conocimientos adquiridos, presentando sus proyectos de branding y entretenimiento en La Villa del Mar y los de cortometrajes en Málaga Short Corner. Durante el proceso estarán acompañados por coaches y mentores y podrán asistir a diversas tutorías personalizadas a cargo de representantes de plataformas, servicios de streaming y compañías tecnológicas. Todo ello con el objetivo de conformar un espacio propio de formación e intercambio de ideas concebido para completar y nutrir su perfil creativo.
The twenty finalists began work yesterday on their final challenge, a piece about their “personal brand”. Juan Antonio Vigar, the Festival’s director, welcomed them and reiterated the support of the event, affirming that “a festival has to give voice and presence to those who are the protagonists of this time, who are you.”
Ralph Haiek, the driving force behind the initiative, said that the section “is related to the need to add talent. What stimulates us is that ideas and projects can come to fruition.”
Victor Hugo Rosales has travelled from Venezuela looking for this event to be the launching pad that will push him to take his skills to the next level. “For me to be here representing my country is a great challenge and a source of pride.
In the same vein, Johanna Lattimore from Spain hopes to learn, create and evolve. “It’s amazing that they are counting on me and my creativity to be involved here,” she added.
OTHER ACTIVITIES
They will also have the opportunity to put their acquired knowledge into practice for the first time, presenting their branding and entertainment projects at La Villa del Mar and their short film projects at Málaga Short Corner. During the process they will be accompanied by coaches and mentors and will be able to attend various personalised tutorials with representatives from platforms, streaming services and technology companies.
