PALOMA ARWEN
La Villa del Mar es el nuevo espacio del Festival de Málaga. Un apartado ubicado en la playa de La Malagueta y que el certamen organiza en colaboración con el Polo Digital, Google, Mediabrands, Iryo, Repsol, Evad y Olin. En este punto de encuentro convergerán, entre el 15 y el 21 de marzo, tecnología y cultura. Los profesionales y el público tendrán la oportunidad de descubrir las últimas tendencias tecnológicas en el audiovisual.
La oferta de actividades se articula en cinco áreas: Storytelling del futuro; Convergencia de contenido y tecnología; Gaming y experiencias inmersivas y Branding e Impacto social y ético de la tecnología.
La industria en auge de los VFX en España contará con un lugar destacado y se organizarán presentaciones de videojuegos. El mundo de la ilustración, la robótica y la animación 2D tamnbién estarán muy presentes.
Además, y por primera vez, los finalistas de Hack Málaga presentarán este año sus proyectos en formato ‘pitching’ ante una audiencia de distintos profesionales del sector.
La Villa del Mar acogerá el estreno de ‘Diarios de Locura’, el primer proyecto español en 360 estereoscópica, y ofrecerá junto al restaurante Antonio Martín una serie de conciertos al aire libre de músicos locales.

La Villa del Mar, on La Malagueta beach, is the new space at the Festival de Málaga, in collaboration with the Polo Digital, where technology and culture converge. From 15 to 21 March, professionals and the ge-neral public will have the chance to discover the latest technological trends in the audiovisual sector in a hundred or so activities.This new event will be the meeting point between new technologies and the audiovi-sual and cultural industry, where entertainment, technology, creativity and sustainability come together.
The programme is divided into five areas: Storytelling for the Future, Convergence of Content and Tech-nology, Gaming and Immersive Experiences, Branding, and Social and Ethical Impact of Technology.
The booming VFX industry in Spain, presentations of video games or robotics, the world of illustration and 2D animation will all have a prominent place.
For the first time Hack Málaga finalists will have the opportunity to present their projects in the form of a pitch to a professional audience. La Villa del Mar will premiere ‘Diarios de Locura (Diaries of Madness)’, the first Spanish project to be presented in 360 stereoscopic. Finally, concerts by local musicians will be held on La Malagueta Beach from 15 to 19 March.
